Seams: A Call for Participants

I am putting out a call for women to participate in Seams, an oral history film about Irish women and the Second World War. I have recorded interviews with Margaret, a woman from the North who was a seamstress in a military parachute factory and Patricia, a woman from the South who joined the British Women's Auxilliary Territorial Service (ATS). I will be returning to Ireland sometime this year, and I would like to find more participants to share their stories. I am looking for Irish women north or south of the border who were factory workers, medical professionals, or members of the British Defense Forces during the Second World War. Please contact me if you know any Irish women who would like to participate or if you would like to share memories of loved ones who participated in the war effort during the Second World War.
